Green Bay resident becomes first Wisconsinite to receive gene therapy treatment for hemophilia A — WBAY

GREEN BAY, WI — David Novak, a patient at the Hemophilia Outreach Center, made history as the first Wisconsinite — and only the second person in the nation — to receive the newly FDA-approved gene therapy treatment ROCTAVIAN for hemophilia A. This breakthrough offers hope for reducing or eliminating the need for regular infusions and marks a major milestone for the hemophilia community.
