Educational Conferences

Educational conferences are full of interesting sessions and networking activities for all members of the bleeding disorders community. Everyone is able to find something that sparks their interest. Individuals and families can find sessions on nearly every aspect of living with a bleeding disorder, from basics of a diagnosis to the latest treatment options.

WI Bleeding Disorders Conference

The annual Wisconsin Bleeding Disorders Conference provides individuals and families with the opportunity to attend educational sessions, meet with healthcare/ industry professionals, and form important connections with others in the Wisconsin bleeding disorders community. Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation plans sessions and activities with the goal of providing solutions to ease the challenges of living with a bleeding  disorder.  Go to GLHF’s website, www.glhf.org for more information.

National Bleeding Disorders Conference

Every year, NHF’s Bleeding Disorders Conference brings together thousands of families and professionals for education and networking. The educational sessions are designed to encompass important topics including: emerging therapies, the surveillance of data, and public health-related issues relevant to patients and  families. 

HOC will provide scholarships for five families, annually. Families are eligible every third year. Childcare is available for children under 12 years old.
