Kendra joined the HOC team in August, 2022. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Carroll University and has spent more than 12 years working for nonprofit and county agencies. While raising two sons, she went back to school and then began a 12-year career in cosmetology which led to the opening of her own studio. Owning her own business gave Kendra several years of marketing and business experience which she took with her to another area nonprofit as their Development Director. Kendra comes to the Hemophilia Outreach Center with grant writing, fundraising and event planning experience and is excited to have realized her passion truly lies with advocacy and raising awareness for issues impacting our community.
Kendra and her husband enjoy camping, traveling, and watching their sons in sports and theater. They are soon-to-be empty nesters and Kendra looks forward to more time to relax, bake, and spend time with her little dog, Louie.
