DESCRIPTION:HOC’s Mentorship Event is happening on August 21st at Badger Sports Park from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM! Mentors and mentees will be selected for this program. \nHOC’s Mentorship Program provides a safe environment for young individuals (ages 7+) with bleeding disorders to connect with peers in the community who can serve as positive role models\, offer encouragement\, and help build confidence and connection. \nInterested in becoming a mentor or having your child become a mentee? DESCRIPTION:The Slow & Pokey Fun Run is the only race where taking your time is encouraged! Join us on September 13\, 2026\, at Green Isle Park in Allouez for a fun-filled 5K walk/run designed for all ages\, abilities\, and energy levels. \nWhether you’re running\, jogging\, strolling\, or meandering your way to the finish line\, this event is all about movement\, laughter\, and community. And for our extra slow pokes (or little legs!)\, we’ll offer a shorter route option\, because fun should be accessible to everyone. \nThe finish line is just the beginning! After the walk/run\, grab a bite from the food truck\, with all food purchases benefiting the Hemophilia Outreach Center. It’s a great way to enjoy a delicious meal\, connect with others\, and continue supporting local families affected by bleeding disorders \nProceeds from the event support the Hemophilia Outreach Center (HOC)\, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders such as hemophilia and von Willebrand disease.
