This is an educational program for individuals and families with a bleeding disorder. It’s an opportunity to educate patients and families about how to self-infuse. This program will also give patients and families the opportunity to practice their infusion skills with a hemophilia treatment center nurse present.

We will be limiting this program to three families and will accept RSVPs on a first come, first serve basis.
Infusion supplies will be provided. Bringing factor to prophy is optional. Food will be provided.

Join Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation at Camp Klotty Pine for an afternoon of family adventures as you explore and connect with fellow camp families and staff. All those interested in attending Camp Klotty Pine in the future, or current campers, are invited to attend with their families. We hope that this group provides an environment where dads can meet and share personal experiences about raising a child with a bleeding disorder. This group is for men (with a bleeding disorder) in the generation before Prophylaxis was a standard of care. We’re excited to announce that in 2022 we are returning to the Kalahari Convention Center in the Wisconsin Dells for our first in-person conference since 2019!    Each year, GLHF hosts the Wisconsin Bleeding Disorders Conference (WBDC) for individuals and families living with a bleeding disorder. The weekend provides an opportunity to attend educational sessions presented by experts, meet with health care and industry professionals, and form important connections with peers affected in Wisconsin.

Camp Klotty Pine creates magical, life-changing experiences for children living with a bleeding disorder. At camp, children develop confidence, independence and build life-long friendships and memories while they swim, canoe, hike, and learn outdoor skills. Camp is also a place of encouragement, mentoring, and education for kids learning to self-infuse and enhance their role in self-care, a skill essential for life.
