Calling all those getting ready for college, current college students as well as returning adults! Learn about the resources and information needed to take advantage of the educational and scholarship opportunities available to the bleeding disorders community with our Virtual Scholarship and College Prep Program in partnership with UWGB. We will discuss the process for applying for college as well as financial aid, regardless of what stage of life you’re in. With so many people applying for scholarships and for college its vital to learn how to stand out from the crowd. This program will cover the process leading up to applying for college, including what activities are looked at on a transcript, a time line of what to do when, how to have a competitive edge, how to reapply for college if you have decided to go back, as well as resources specific to the bleeding disorders community.
Those eligible for this program include sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school, college students and those looking to return to school. Family members are also welcome to attend and learn how to support throughout this process.
